Potential for Contract Termination

RiverSpring FIDA Plan is a managed care plan that contracts with both Medicare and the New York State Department of Health (Medicaid) to provide benefits of both programs to participants through the Fully Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) Demonstration. The RiverSpring FIDA Plan contract may be terminated or not renewed, which may result in termination of your enrollment. If this happens, we will notify you in writing before your coverage ends, and explain your options for Medicare and Medicaid coverage.

Until your disenrollment is effective, you will keep getting your medical services and drugs through RiverSpring FIDA Plan. In addition:

  • RiverSpring FIDA Plan will work with Medicare and Medicaid to ensure an orderly transition.
  • The benefits and rules described in your Evidence of Coverage will continue until your membership ends.
  • You can enroll in another FIDA Plan to continue your coverage or return to your original Medicare and Medicaid plans.
